When you are in Malaysia on Employment VISA and you want to enjoy driving in different streets and different city, you should have a driving license. If you are Pakistani and already have got Pakistani driving license and international driving license, during first three months of your stay you can drive on the basis of you international driving license. After that you have to get Malaysian Driving license. Here are the requirements to get Malaysian driving license for Pakistani's ( for rest of the people, process will be almost same)
- Photo copy of EP ( Employment Pass/VISA)
- Photo copy of passport
- Reference letter from your company
- License photo copy
- 3 photo
- Last 3 months salary slips
- Letter from Pakistan High Commission
To get Letter letter from Pakistani High Commission you need to provide following documents to High Commission
- Photo Copy of Pakistani Driving License (Attested by Foreign office in Pakistan)
- Photo Copy of International Driving License
Pakistan High Commission is located in Dang Wangi, KL. LRT is a good and cheap mean to reach Dang Wangi. From Dang Wangi LRT station, Pakistan High commission is on 5 minutes walk.
Office for Malaysian Driving License is located in Putra Jaya.
